Established in 1998 under the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Act 13, 1998, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) serves as the apex technical university in Madhya Pradesh. The university was founded by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to oversee all technical institutions, including engineering and pharmacy colleges, across the state.
